January 10, Decree issued by the Cardinal-Archbishop of Montreal, Paul-Emile
Leger, for the erection of a distinct parish, serving English-Speaking
Catholics of Baie D'Urfe, Sainte Anne de Bellevue and Senneville.
Concurrently with this decree, the appointment of Rev. Bernard Charles
MacDonald as the first parish priest.
1960 Blessing of the property by Msgr. Martin Reid and Msgr. Edward Lapointe.
1962 May, preliminary plans for the construction
of the church were prepared.
September, beginning
of construction of the church, hall and rectory.
1963 Easter, Church was blessed, the altar consecrated and the first Eucharist celebrated.
1965 Father Myles Kelly appointed second parish priest.
1983 Father Ronald Lawson appointed parish administrator.
1983 September, the Silver Jubilee was celebrated.
1984 Father Louis Van Gool appointed fourth parish priest.
1993 Dedication and Consecration of the Church,
on June 13th, 1993, the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, by the Most Reverend
Jean-Claude Turcotte, Archbishop of Montreal.
