Parent Organization
The Parent Organization in this school is called PAC (Parents At Center of education). This organization focuses on the academic and moral development of the children.
Parents are expected to be involved through attendance at general PAC meeting and meeting teachers for report card conferences.
Parents are also expected to support financial development: fund raising, securing matching funds from employers and obtaining direct grants that benefit the school.
Volunteer support is vital to the growth of the school. Opportunities for daily service exist in the lunchroom, playground and classrooms. One hour a week can make a great difference. Parental presence demonstrates interest and support.
Parent Education Programs held throughout the year provide insights on parenting and child development. Topics on educational issues are planned during the year. School bulletins are sent home to provide monthly updates on current programs and calendar items.
Booster Club – a supportive arm of PAC is interested in the growth and betterment of the sports program: cheerleading, football, basketball, swimming and tennis.
