We serve to enhance their faith formation in cooperation with their parents, who are the first and daily religious educators and faith transmitters of children.
The sole prerequisite to be a CCD teacher is a love of children. We will develop and train you – join us in sharing the love of Jesus with the children.
Classes for all grades are Tuesdays 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and Wednesdays 5:00 PM.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Mondays from 8:30 AM through Tuesday 7:00 AM. As quoted by Pope John Paul II:
"I would like to repeat my invitation to you to make adoration of the Blessed Sacrament a habitual practice in all Christian communities. It is an expression of the whole Christian community’s love and worship of its Lord. Priestly, religious, and missionary vocations will stem from this meeting with Christ in the tabernacle, and will bring the light of the Gospel to the ends of the earth; in this crucible of the "Love of Loves," will be forged the apostolic spirit of lay Christians, witnesses to Christ amid temporal realities; in the intimacy of the tabernacle, the values that must reign in homes will receive new strength to make the family a meeting place with God, a center that radiates faith, a school of Christian life. In the Bread which came down from heaven, the family will be able to find the support that will keep it united in the face of today’s threats and will preserve it as a bastion of life, steadfast against the culture of death."
All are invited.
Our ministry consists of many volunteers who give four to five hours, four to five days a year. Mothers with young children, grandparents, and often great-grandparents join us.
All boys and girls from grade 3 through young men and women in high school are eligible to serve on the altar at Mass. All that is required is determination, reverence, and responsibility.
Please call for information and the next meeting.
