| Adult Confirmation
Are you interested in preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation? Would you like to help others prepare for the Sacrament? Altar Servers (Adults & Youth) Are you an adult who would like to serve at daily Mass? Elementary and High School students are needed to serve at the weekend liturgies. Baptism Preparation Would you enjoy meeting young families and helping to prepare them for the Baptism of their child? Buildings & Grounds Committee Are you interested in keeping our physical surroundings in good repair? Do you have talent in this area you can share? Cornerstone Prayer Groups (separate groups for men and women) Are you interested in experiencing a Cornerstone Weekend? Would you enjoy meeting once a month for prayer and personal sharings presented by your peers? Eucharistic Ministry Are you interested in the special ministry of Eucharistic Minister and wish to serve at the altar and bring communion to the homebound members of our parish family? Gift Bearer Would you like to represent our community and bring the gifts to the altar at our liturgies? Hospitality Committee Are you a welcoming person who enjoys making others feel at home? Would you like to serve at our Social Gatherings after Mass or during special events? Do you have a talent for baking that you would like to share? Lector/Reader Proclaiming the Word is a special ministry that is more than public speaking. Readers bring the scriptures to life after prayerful preparation. Music Ministry (Choir) When we sing we pray twice! Do you enjoy praising the Lord in song? Even if you do not read music, there is a place for you in the Choir. Nursing Home Ministry Would you like to join a group of parishioners who visit local nursing homes? They pray the Rosary together or assist the residents to the chapel for Mass. Pro-Life Committee Through prayer and awareness campaigns, this group fosters respect for life at all stages. Religious Education through Family Catechesis This new program is an exciting and effective way of sharing our faith with the young people of the parish. Parents and children come together for weekly sessions facilitated by a catechist. Would you like to be part of this joy-filled experience either as a catechist or office support staff member? Retreat Committee Help us plan and facilitate the Annual Parish Retreat. From planning the liturgies to organizing the kitchen, there is a wide range of talents needed to make the retreat a wonderful experience for parishioners of all ages. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Do you or someone you know want to become a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church? Would you like to be part of the RCIA team that prepares adults for the Sacraments of Initiation? Rosary Recitation The first Sunday of every month, we meet in the Church at 8:00am to recite the Rosary. Everyone is invited to join us in prayer and lead on occasion. Senior Citizen Social Club Are you a senior who would like to meet others for fun and socialization? Are you interested in joining the seniors on trips? Serra Club Are you interested in promoting the Vocation Awareness and supporting the local clergy and religious brothers and sisters? 31 Club Sponsored by the Serra Club, the 31 Club is a prayer group for vocations. Individuals commit to attending Mass once a month (in addition to their weekly obligation) for the intention of increased vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Ushers and Greeters Would you like to welcome people at the doors of the church at our liturgies and serve as an usher and greeter? Youth Ministry (grades 7-12) Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join the Youth Group for a variety of fun, prayerful and social justice experiences.
