Inscribed Crosses

On 10th June 2008, 14 inscribed crosses, made of steel, were installed along the main road of the Ta Pinu Marian Centre. Each cross is 2 metres in height and installed 10 metres apart from each other. Each cross is uniquely inscribed with the Scriptures of the Holy Gospel. The crosses were constructed by a team of volunteers. Directly opposite to each cross, on the other side of the road, 14 flagpoles have been installed to fly the flag of each nationality which have been involved in the growth of the Ta Pinu Marian Centre. This avenue of inscribed crosses and flags were inaugurated on the 15th June 2008, the same date upon which the annual Feast of Our Lady of Ta Pinu was celebrated, which also happened to be the 125th anniversary of the calling of Our Lady of Ta Pinu to Karmela Grima.
