Our Vision for the Future

Although
a lot has been accomplished over the past 12 years at Ta Pinu Marian
Centre, a greater vision is yet to be realized - the building of a grand
church replicating the basilica in Gozo, Malta, which will accommodate
approximately 900 people. It is planned that this church will be built
on the same scale as the original basilica. The chapel that has already
been constructed will be adjoined to the new church.
A life-size bronze statue of Karmela Grima, similar to the one already
standing at Ta Pinu in Gozo, will be eventually created and positioned
in front of the proposed church at Ta Pinu Marian Centre.
There are also plans for a large hall for special occasions, including
seminars, prayer groups and other functions.
A picnic area is being considered which will provide a leisure and
meeting area for the congregation. The picnic area will be equipped with
barbeques and public toilets.
A huge asphalted car park is also intended for the centre to hold a
large number of cars and buses.
In co-operation with the community, our vision also entails public
transport bus services from Bacchus Marsh and other suburbs closer to
the city.
