Confirmation Program:
This is a two-year program beginning in grade 9. Students must have completed
prior grade levels and have a working knowledge and understanding of the
fundamentals of the Catholic faith. Candidates shall be evaluated on an
individual basis prior to being admitted to the sacrament.
Adults who desire receiving this sacrament should contact the parish
priest at their earliest convenience. Preparations will be according to
the individual needs of persons.
ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS:
Adults seeking membership in the Catholic Church are required to be part
of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA or RCIA). The OCIA
is an open-ended process involving four stages: Inquiry, Catechumenate,
Elect, and Neophyte. This program not only includes receiving instruction
in Catholic beliefs, but also assists candidates in their faith development
and incorporation into the parish family.
For further information, or to become part of the OCIA, please
call the parish priest (352-1311).
