In Loving Memory 

Rev. Fr. Peter Windram
Rev. Fr. Peter Windram was called to Rest in The Lord on January 15, 2000 in the United Kingdom. He died of a heart failure at the age of 64. Fr. Windram arrived at Sandakan at the age of 29 in 1960 serving as assistant to Rev. Fr. Mulders. He took over from Fr. Denicolo the role of the principal of St. Mary's Primary School from 1963-1965. A very caring priest who was forever concerned with the spirituality of the young people in those days. It was during his time that youth turned up in doves that vibrant the whole church.

Windram would actually present at all the weekly meetings. By being personally involved in the ministry and his care and concern for the spiritual life of the young people, the Legion of Mary gathered many young students. Can you recognize Eddie Yap, John Koh, Leo Delgado, William Liaw, James Chong, Virginia Koh, Dr. Mimi and Ann Liew, Mariana Kok, Dorothy Funk, Wanda Fabia, Theresa Pan, James Delgado, Patrick Tan, James Chow, Frederick Chu, Bernard Lai etc. etc., . Justina Chu and Peter Ng had since called to rest in the Lord. You will find that most of these people remain to be faithful Christians.
