in the sinister flank (left
side) a closed book leathered garnished and having
on sinister side five seals;
and in sinister base the figures 1665.

SIGNIFICANCE
Shield:
Assistance promised by Christ
to those who follow him.
Crown:
Eternal Glory we strive for
through the Cross.
Cross:
Symbol of Love and Charity
exemplified by the Incarnation. The promises to those who take up their
cross and follow Him.
Eucharist:
The emphasis placed by Vatican
II linking the priest very much with the Eucharist.
Book:

b) knowledge and Education
through the Seminary.
Palm:
Palm of Martyrdom of the College
Martyrs.
Red:
Colour of martyrs.
