EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION distribute Holy Communion under both species at each of the Masses. They also bring the Eucharist to those who are confined to their homes. To be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, you must have received the sacrament of confirmation and be at least in the 11th grade.

All Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, when arriving for Sunday Mass, should check in with the Captain to determine if they are needed to serve at that Mass. There are usually 12 positions to be filled. You are needed.
