Evening Prayer to God the Father
The Apostolate of Holy Motherhood
Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of your
faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.
LET US PRAY:
Oh God who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful
grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise
and ever rejoice in his consolations through Christ our Lord. Amen.
PRAYER OF ST FRANCIS
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred.......... let me sow love.
Where there is injury......................... pardon.
Where there is discord.......................... unity.
Where there is doubt............................. faith.
Where there is error............................. truth.
Where there is despair.......................... hope.
Where there is sadness............................ joy.
Where there is darkness ... ...................light.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled........................... as to console.
To be understood................. as to understand.
To be loved...................................... as to love.
For
It is in giving.......................... that we recieve.
It is in pardoning........... that we are pardoned.
It is in dying... that we are born to eternal life.

Evening Prayer to God the Father
O eternal God and Ruler of all creation, You have allowed me to reach this hour. Forgive the sins I have committed this day by word, deed or thought. Purify me, O Lord, from every spiritual and physical stain. Grant that I may rise from this sleep to glorify You by my deeds throughout my entire lifetime, and that I be victorious over every spiritual and physical enemy. Deliver me, O Lord, from all vain thoughts and from evil desires, for yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and forever. Amen.
