Lexington Community Weekend Palanca
There are teams in formation all year long here in the diocese. Part of your daily routine should include prayers and sacrifices in support of the weekends, the teams, candidates, and members of the community who make the weekends happen. We need to communicate our prayers and sacrifices to the team and candidates for each weekend through a palanca letter. You can probably recall the incredible feelings you had when you came to the realization that there were literally thousands of people praying for you and the success of your weekend.
It is recommended that you first write a general palanca letter to the team and candidates so they all can hear of the many prayers and sacrifices being made on their behalf. In addition, you may also write individual letters to team and/or candidates as you wish. Sponsors and spouses (who have made a weekend previously) are strongly urged to write a letter to their candidate.

Whether you E-mail or send via regular mail, please mark it as general palanca or palanca for a specific person so it can be sorted accordingly. You palanca needs to arrive no later than the Monday before the weekend begins if at all possible to assure it can be delivered to the weekend site.
