Cursillo Weekends
The Diocese of Lexington Cursillo has been offering men's and women's weekends since 1979. If you are interested in making a Cursillo weekend, and you do not have a sponsor or have questions, please email the Pre-Cursillo Chair, Kerri Baunach. Those interested in making a Cursillo weekend must fill out the candidate application. You may do this online using our online candidate application form, or you may print off the form, fill it out, and then mail to Kerri Baunach, Kerri Baunach, 313 Masterson Station, Lexington, Kentucky 40511. Both online and hardcopy applications require a $50 deposit, which is to be mailed to Kerri Baunach. The deposit will be applied to your total cost. Check or money orders should be made out to Diocese of Lexington Cursillo. The total cost for a weekend at Cliffview Retreat Center is $260 for a private room or $185 for a shared room (you and one other). The amount we charge is just enough to cover the costs of the room, food, and incidentals (e.g., photocopying, name tags, markers, etc.). Despite our efforts to keep the cost of the weekend to a minimum, we realize that some potential candidates find the costs prohibitive. We do not want the cost of the weekend to keep potential candidates from making a weekend. Therefore, limited scholarships that defray costs are available as our budget allows. Inquiries about possible scholarships should be directed to the Pre-Cursillo Chair, Kerri Baunach.
