Praying During the Weekend Palanca
Another way you can support the teams and candidates is to pray off-site for the candidates and team during the weekend. You can pray individually or you can collaborate with others during the weekend. We desire to have off-site prayers unceasing during the waking hours of the weekend. To help reach our goal, we have assigned each community a block of time (see below). You, individually or as a group, can sign-up to pray during a time block that you designate OR you can sign-up for the block of time assigned to your community. The community blocks are in four hour increments. As an example: if you and three others volunteer to cover your community's assigned time, you could each take a different hour during that block. Or, you could get together for a four hour prayer vigil. Either way you would cover the entire four hour block.
Where you are and how you pray during your block of time is up to you. The important thing is that we lift up the team and candidates throughout the weekend. This type of palanca allows you to participate and support the weekend no matter where you are.
