God’s Pantry needs donations of non-perishable food items such as canned meats, soups and fruits, dried beans and pasta, flour, sugar, peanut butter for those in need. Donations can be made at our warehouse during normal operating hours. In Lexington: 1685 Jaggie Fox Way. In Prestonsburg: 74 Resource Court. In addition, residents of Fayette County can make their donation at any Kroger location by placing the food in our donation barrel near the customer service desk or exit. Many parishes also have donation barrels. If you cannot find the barrel, please ask at the customer service desk.

Mary Queen of the Holly Rosary, Coordinator of Religious Education for Youth, is hiring a full-time Coordinator of Youth Ministery. The applicant must be passionate about serving our youth, have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, and experience with youth leadership. The position requires experienced communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, Catechist Certification, and an understanding of the necessity of Safe Environment Policy. Familiarity with Hispanic culture and Renewing the Vision is a plus. This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits. Juvenile Restorative Justice needs people to translate documents from Spanish to English and someone who can over see the Juvenile Restorative Justice web site. We are also supporting court ordered drug tests for juveniles whose family cannot afford them, so dontaions for these are needed. The tests are $12@.
