What MCH Does

Catholic Faith

Provides a home education organization that is
specifically Catholic and which addresses the
needs and interests of Roman Catholic families.

Catholic Home Education Materials

Offers information and guidance to Catholic home educating families, including a free Resource and Beginners Guide available at our annual conference, on our website, or by mail upon request.

Support groups and Confrences

Gives additional support to families by directing them to a local support group. With an all volunteer staff, MCH organizes the annual It's Great to be Catholic! Conference and Book Fair every June with a variety of inspiring speakers and an extensive book and curriculum fair. In addition to the many vendors at the book fair, MCH offers a broad array of Catholic curriculum and reading materials. The sale of these materials helps to keep registration fees at a reasonable price and funds the Fr. John Hardon Scholarship Program.

Catholic Home Education News

Sends an informative quarterly newsletter, Opus Gloriae, to all MCH members. Monitors legislation at the state and national level and quickly relays information of concern to Catholic home educating families, thus providing them an opportunity for a timely response. Interfaces and works with other Catholic, Protestant, and secular educational organizations to promote our common goals and interests.

Home Education Scholarships

Offers Fr. John Hardon Scholarship awards to Catholic home educating families in Michigan needing financial assistance.
