TYME
is an acronym that stands for Total Youth Ministry Experience.
Students in the 7th and 8th grade years participate in this
catechetical program, which differs from the younger religious
education programs offered. TYME students typically meet 2 hours
on 2 Wednesday nights a month for fellowship and faith formation.
In these grades, students are encouraged to begin to find new ways to
experience their faith- through taking part in service activities,
different methods of prayer, participating in liturgy, and continuing
to learn the theology of the Church. These years also focus on
the catechetical preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation.
In class, students are challenged to look at the Catholic faith and
understand what makes this faith their own. Additionally,
students grow in peer relationships, and are invited to be more
involved in extra activities for youth!
