The goal of St. Vincent de Paul Parish Council of Catholic Women is to enrich our spiritual life and provide fellowship and service to others.

The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its affiliated organizations to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service. NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.

Summary of February 8, 2011 meeting:

Looking for a volunteer for the position of vice president.

Cheese Ball fund raiser – We had orders for 237 cheese balls.

Annual Christmas PotLuck Dinner – December 7, 2010 – Wine and Cheese: 5 – 6 pm, Dinner @ 6 pm. Bingo followed. Donations for St Vincent DePaul family – either cash or Scrip were collected. PCCW matched the dollars donated and helped three families celebrate Christmas.

WinterFest will be held Saturday February 19th and Sunday February 20th. Units will have vendor tables and quilt raffle.

Women's Conference "Call to Holiness" will be held at St Mary's Parish in Altoona on March 5, 2011

PCCW will sponsor a confirmation reception on April 3, 2011 - if St Joseph Parish in Adams doesn't.

Baby Shower will be held in conjunction with the April 17, 2011 Sunday Social.

Spring Deanery dinner/speaker will be at St Alexander Parish in Port Edwards April 26, 2011

The Annual DCCW collection will be the weekend of April 30th / May 1st.

May's sunday Social May 15, 2011 will host a high school graduate reception.

Next PCCW meeting will be held May 10, 2011 in room 103.
