Educating youths the Pro-Life way

KUCHING - An important activity of the Pro-Life Group (under the Association of Churches in Sarawak) is the education of youths on the sanctity of life. Towards this end, the Pro-Life Group gives talks to youths groups on boy-girl relationship, consequences of premarital sex and other related pro-life issues. Videos on pro-life topics are also screened.

In May, the Pro-Life Group held talks for three different groups of youths. On 17 May, Dr Jenny Goh gave a Pro-Life presentation to 70 boys and girls at the Trinity Methodist Church, on the invitation of the Church’s Youth Fellowship.

On 22 May, Catherine Pero and Daisy Segie gave a talk to 80 girls at SMK Penrissen No 1. On 24 May, Michael Junim held an interesting Pro-Life session for 150 boys and girls, at a seminar organised by the Anglican Communication Centre, SMK Taee, Serian.
