God's Creation

I often take an evening stroll because it gives me the time to exercise a bit and at the same time appreciate God’s creation. The sunset !

Yes, sunset is beautiful and colourful. So many artists have painted it and the poets praised it. We, Christians see it as part of God’s marvelous work, the creation. We really have to take time of our hectic life to browse round a bit; to be in commune with nature; to fill our soul with beautiful pictures that soothe our tortured or busy mind.

Taking a car ride can be educational too. I often see trees withering at one time and vibrant again, at other time . So it is with life, full of ups and downs, meeting and partings, joy and sorrow. That is facts of life. We have to accept it. We have to overcome and show our spirits and will, to bear the test of being down-trodden and snap out of it and be on our feet again. Or to celebrate; to sing and dance and to rejoice.
We are alive! Christ is within reach, if we reach out and pray hard enough.

Not everyone see things the way we do. We are individual; each has a mind or will of his/her own. So John’s different from me, in colour, look, height, speech and behaviour. So what? Does he look like an elephant, or bird or just another human being? Well, there you are, he’s human like you and me. It should not be so difficult to treat each other the way Christ wants us to.

Above all we must always welcome Christ into our lives.

Isaiah 49:15 -

The truest words of all: I will not forget you. You are in my waking thoughts, my sweetest memories, my dearest dreams. I will not forget you. You have touched my soul, opened my eyes, changed my very experience of the universe. I will not forget you. I see you in the flowers, the sunset, the sweep of the horizon and all things that stretch to infinity. I will not forget you. I have carved you on the palm of my hand. I carry you with me forever.
