Important Notice -
Baptism names for Children
This is a request from our Priest with regards to the above
a) Parents are advised to choose only Saints' names or
names from Old Testaments for their children during Baptism
b) Please refrain from choosing non-Christian names
associated with celebrities
c) Use only one (1) name
d) You may give your child any name from your ethnic
background for registration with the Pendaftaran but for
Baptism please refer to the above guidelines
e) If and when the priest feels that the name chosen by the
parents are not appropriate, the priest may baptize the
child with another name
N.B. Our Bookshop has books with over 3000 Christian names
for boys and girls

Monthly Adoration will be held on 26th June 2008 (Thursday)

Grief |
|
For
most of us, death appears as a fixed horizon |

and
those who pass over it leave an emptiness we

fill with a season of grieving. |

yet, with our sorrow there is also a
knowledge |

light, a certainty that the sense of loss |

belongs
not to any ending but to the limitation of
our vision |

Death is an experience
for those left behind, not for those |
| who
are moving from one stage of living to
another |

| It is
Christ who dwells within us who is free to
step back and |
| forth
over the horizon of death, containing our
grief in His |
|
passion and our knowledge of light in his
transcendence, |
|
showing us that death and resurrection are
the two sides |
| of the
one coin. |
| |
| So
while grief goes on, the tears, the hurting, |
| I know
in the truth of Jesus Christ |
| That
the hollowness I feel at the departure of
love ones |
| is in reality, the
hollowness of the empty tomb. |
