All anglers in any participating boat must be derby entrants (on October 2 and 3).  Bank fishing is also allowed.

Legal derby hours are 5AM Saturday until 3PM Sunday.  Awards will be announced at 6PM Sunday, October 3, at the Richland Knights of Columbus Hall, 2500 Chester Road (Bypass Highway and Van Giesen Street).

Checks should be made payable to the Knights of Columbus or to Tri-Cities Prep.

Derby fishing is open on the Columbia River and Yakima River as allowed by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations.  All participants must follow all applicable licensing, tackle, and fishing regulations.  Violations will result in disqualification.

Weigh-in station locations:    Vernita Bridge (1st launch above bridge); Ringold (below irrigation outfall); Leslie Groves Park (Snyder Street boat launch in Richland)

Weigh in stations will be open, as a minimum, from 10AM to 5PM Saturday and 10AM to 3PM Sunday.  Weighing in during other hours will be permitted subject to the availability of and at the discretion of a weigh station attendant, but in no cases will a weigh-in be allowed for anglers arriving at the weigh station after 3PM Sunday.

Salmon will be weighed whole, ungutted.  All Salmon will be subject to inspection or dissection by derby officials.  Foreign matter detected in any Salmon, or evidence of freezing, will be grounds to disqualify the entrant.

Derby volunteers and organizers are allowed to participate in the derby with the exception of the weighmaster.  The weighmaster will be the final authority on all questions regarding validity of awards.

Prizes will be awarded for largest Salmon, highest total weight for the two-day derby, a randomly selected "mystery Salmon", and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th largest Salmon.  Additional prizes may be awarded depending on the number of prize donations.  In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the flip of a coin.

Participants agree that the decisions of the derby weighmaster are final.
