Perhaps you are unaware that an equally important aspect of our ministry is visiting the homebound parishioners of our parish. Our Eucharistic Ministers, Deacons and Lay Ministers visit over 65 homebound parishioners each Sunday. They show their love, concern and friendship to all whom they visit. They will deliver the Church bulletin, The Caring Community Newsletter, cards, pictures and letters from the Religious Education Students and from the Students of St. Paul School. Most importantly they bring a special gift each Sunday which is the gift of the Blessed Sacrament in Holy Communion.
On the First Friday of each month, Frs. Herman, Tom and Herbert also visit the homebound parishioners. Visitations are made to area hospitals and healthcare facilities.
If you or a loved one will be homebound for a short or long period of time,
entering an area hospital or healthcare facility and would like a visit please call the Parish Center and speak to Barbara Schweitzer, Lay Minister to the Sick.
The information needed should include the name of facility where you will be a patient, date of admission and the approximate length of stay.
While we hope you will never need these services, be assured that our parish family of St. Paul Church will be there to support you during your time of need.
