St. Mark’s Choir is a spirited, fun, and welcoming group of about 20 musicians who rejoice in providing choral music for the 10:30 Sunday liturgy from September to June. We also present a Festival of Lessons and Carols in December, and a special Tenebrae Service on Good Friday. We sing a wide range of music, including works of Tallis, Palestrina, Handel, Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Fauré, Rutter, and Woodman. We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7-9, and on Sunday mornings at 9:30. We have 3 professional section leaders (tenor, baritone & bass). All the rest are volunteers, and anyone is welcome to try us out. Questions may be addressed to our Music Director,
Christa Rakich.
