of St. Casimir Church
The success of a parish family is based on the strengths
that lie within the groups of parishioners who give freely of their time and
talents to make up the organizations and ministries of a church. The Rosary Society, Women’s Guild, Men’s Club
and Knights of Columbus have been the foundation of our church organizations
for many years. Members of these four
groups have consistently donated countless hours in making our parish what it
is today. The Rosary Society originally
called the Sisters of the Rosary was founded in 1908. Nearly 100 years later this group is still
active within the church and is especially known for their “famous” Grinder
Sale, which falls on the last Saturday of January. The Catholic Women’s Guild was organized
November 9, 1948. This group like the
Rosary Society has played a very active role in the church. If you like Polish food, you want to be sure
to attend their Food Fair, which is held every year in November. The Men’s Club, a relatively new group,
continually lends support spiritually, financially and socially to our
parish. Their February Pasta Supper,
held just in time for Valentine’s Day is always a big hit for the entire family
while their evening of Wine Tasting for the over 21 crowd are events
that bring together parishioners and non-parishioners. The Knights of Columbus Leo XII Council 1090
with their Council Chambers located at The Lyceum draws its membership from St.
Casimir Church, Immaculate Conception Church and St.
Michael Church supporting both the church and community.
