FAIR PARKING	This is one of our big fundraisers.  Every September at the Terryville Lions Country Fair, we direct all the patrons to their parking spots.  This is a large task and we are helped out greatly by students from Terryville High School.  Donations are made to the treasuries of each group that provides assistance.  So, if you are trying to figure out who to blame for parking you as far from the entrance as is humanly possible...That would be us.
EASTER FLOWER SALE	Every Easter, we can be found under our tents on in front of the Lyceum.  We sell a wide variety of plants and flowers - everything from the traditional lillies, to hanging plants, to cut flowers.  Stop in and say hello.
LADIES DAY DINNER	This coincides with the installation of every new Grand Knight.  A dinner is held honoring the wives and widows of council members.
TOOTSIE ROLL SALES	Every fall, Knights all around the country hand out Tootsie Rolls in exchange for donations.  Funds raised by this activity are used to help intellectually disabled children locally and throughout the state.  Donations in past years have helped sponsor events in the school's Special Education program.  Our most recent donations have helped to sponsor a program at the Terryville Library for autistic children.
FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIP	Each year in January, we hold a contest (free of charge) for boys and girls ages 10 - 14.  Winners from this contest advance to district, regional, and state competitions.  International winners are selected based on the cumulative scores of the contestants. This year (2006) our council will host the State Final.
MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES	This is just a small sampling of different events that we are involved in.  Please watch for us and support us in all our endeavors throughout  town.
