A Ministry of Friendship and Compassion

Who We Are

The Visitation Ministry was started by members of All Saints Church in response to an identified need in our community; There are many people whose lives would be enriched by regular visits from a ‘compassionate friend.’

Our visitors have individual talents, valuable life experience and special training, which has prepared them to serve in this ministry of hope, fellowship, and compassion.

What We Offer

We all have had times in our lives when visiting with someone proved to be a precious gift. In addition, in an age when family and friends live miles from loved ones, and the demands of work, children and other obligations compete with our desire to be with those we care about, All Saints Visitation Ministry offers to be there when family and friends can’t.

Who We Wish To Serve

We would like the opportunity to visit with you, or someone you know who may be bereaved, lonely or isolated, sick, or homebound.  Please know that our visitors are committed to keeping the confidentiality of those we visit.

If you are thinking about making a referral, but would like to speak to a visitor first, please feel free to give us a call at the phone number below.  Your questions are always welcome.

Hospital Visitation

If you would like to help with a new ministry to make regular visits to people in Gerber Hospital, please contact us at (231) 924-5002 or 924-7705 and let us know you are interested. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
