MISSION STATEMENT The Mission of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is the fulfillment of the educational ministry and has as its primary goal, the continuous formation of the Christian person. The school staff, faculty, and parents, nurture the whole person spiritually, intellectually, morally, socially, culturally, and physically. Our challenge as an educational ministry is to provide an environment where students can develop and demonstrate self-esteem, respect for others, critical reasoning skills, and creativity. The goal of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is to prepare students to become responsible adults. Accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department and a member of the National Catholic Education Association. PROFILE Founded by the Sisters of the Holy Spirit (formally the Holy Ghost and Marry Immaculate), St. Charles Borromeo School has been educating the future leaders of Houston for over 32 years. At St. Charles Borromeo School, you will find a detailed curriculum which addresses the developmental needs of the whole child – academic, spiritual, social and physical. FACULTY AND STAFF We, at St. Charles Borromeo, are especially proud of our dedicated and caring staff, consisting of both Sisters and teachers, who are committed to the spiritual and scholastic development of their students. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Our elective and extracurricular program includes Choir, Band, Computers, Music Lessons, and Chess. We also have a sports program which includes: Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. |
