Sampling of Past BAYA Events

* PACCO Casino Night
Bay Area has been working hard to organize "A Night in Monte Carlo" for PACCO.  It will be from 7:30pm-12:00am at St. Bernadette's social hall.  Proceeds benefit victims of Hurricane Mitch.  Tickets are $16 before September 16th or $20 at the door.  Several gambling tables.  DJ/dancing.  Delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine/beer included.  Evening attire.  Door prizes.

* Pot Luck & Games
Mexican Train Returns!! Come on over at 7:00pm for a pot-luck dinner and games night. Bring a main dish, snack, or dessert, and something to drink. Feel free to bring whatever board games you might have.

* Generation Cross
Generation Cross, the St. Luke's young adult group, invites everyone to join them for Bible study every Tuesday at 7:30pm.  For more info call Paul and Kim or check out their website:

* Newcomers: Laser Tag
Laser Tag and Dinner at Jason's Deli - You should all know by now that this is one of the most popular events we have ever had. It just keeps showing up on the calendar and if you come, you will see why. This stuff is pure FUN!!  The game starts promptly at 7:20pm so be there by 7:00pm to sign in. Cost is only $5.50 per person with a group of 10 or more.

* Habitat for Humanity
The day starts at 8:00am as we help to build a 4-bedroom house in Dickinson. This is a great cause and we need your help. You can bring a lunch and stay, or leave whenever you wish, the day ends at 4:00pm.

* Tuesday Tennis
Tennis at Bay Glen Tennis Courts - Tennis meets every Tuesday from 8:00pm-10:00pm at the Bay Glen tennis courts (north on El Camino Real, right on Pineloch, left on Penn Hills). Non-competitive. 

* Rosary & Desserts
We'll pray the Rosary starting at 7:30pm, instructions provided.  Rotate bringing desserts.

* Schlitterbahn trip
Come join us for a day at the Schlitterbahn water park on Saturday, June 17 near New Braunfels. Reservations have been made for the Comfort Inn for Friday, June 16 at $25 per person but you must RSVP by June 12 to reserve your spot. We are leaving Friday to get an early start on the park Saturday. You can meet us there on Saturday if you choose not to stay in the hotel Friday night.

*Downtown Dancing!
Wild West Joint Event with St. Mike's - Come grab yer boots for a little scoots at 7:00pm at Wild West on Richmond. We will carpool from St. B's at 6:30pm.

* How about a little culture?
April 8 - Play: Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) -Come on out and experience this farce from the people that gave you the 5 minute Hamlet. We will carpool from St. B's at 7:00pm to the Harbour Playhouse on Hwy. 3 in Dickinson. Cost is $10.

* Camping Trip
Pedernales Falls State Park Camping Trip - We'll leave at around 12:30pm from St. B's to begin the trip to Pedernales near Austin. If you can't leave on Friday, you can meet us there Saturday. Reservations have already been made and the deadline to R.S.V.P. was April 29th, how-ever we may still have room for more people up until May 6 so please let us know as soon as possible if you can attend. There is a $10 penalty for canceling after you R.S.V.P..

* Community Service
Help at Women's Crisis Center - For those of you who have some free time, Jason has arranged for us to help out at the thrift shop beginning at 10:00am.
