




The primary purpose for the school uniform/dress code and grooming standards is to insure that each and every student at St. Anne's School present a picture of neatness and cleanliness consistent with our belief that our bodies are a gift from God to be cherished and respected.
2. St. Anne's girls do not wear make-up, fingernail polish or costume jewelry at school or school sponsored events. One small earring for pierced ears is permitted. St. Anne's boys are not allowed to wear earrings at school or school sponsored activities.
3. Hair must be kept neat, clean, and away from the eyes. Bleached or tinted hair, hair spiked or sprayed to stand up stiffly is unacceptable. Boys' hair must be shorter than the top of their shirt collar. In general, styles should be kept simple. Over exaggerated styles will not be accepted.
4. White turtlenecks are allowed only under the unifrom blouses and shirts during cold weather. The school unifrom shorts (Navy Blue) may be worn during hot weather only. A note will be sent home to notify you of those times.
5. Uniform requirements are as follows:
Girls:
Grades 5-8: SKIRT--McDonald Plaid and OVERBLOUSE--White, Peter Pan Collar, Short Sleeves, Band around bottom---Optional: WALKING SHORTS-Navy Twill, SLACKS-Navy Twill, and VEST-Lipstick Red, V-Neck
Boys:
All Students:
Winter Coats/Jackets: May be worn during winter months. A note will be sent home. They may be worn only over the school sweater/sweatshirt, not instead of it.
