TODAY'S FOCUS: "And All Shall Be Well” Some sections in the Bible are called “apocalyptic literature,” that is, writings that reveal or disclose truths not apparent to others living at the time. The book of Daniel and the thirteenth chapter of Mark’s Gospel were written at a time of persecution and contain a message that is meant to encourage people to hold onto their faith: God will not abandon us.

Listen, my child, he says, and see...Only the hearing attains to truth because it perceives the Verb.
