Today’s Gospel continues presenting a day in the life of Jesus, begun last week. In these early days of his ministry, Jesus brings healing into many lives, including Peter’s mother-in-law, who then gets up to minister to others. Jesus’ healing and preaching are balanced by time spent in prayer with the Father.
