ABOUT SAINT ANN'S CHURCH
A BRIEF HISTORY
- June 7, 1960 Saint Ann's was established by
bishop James L. Conelley Bishop of Fall River.
- June 19, 1960 the first Mass in Raynham was
celebrated at Gilmore Hall on Broadway. Deacon
John, along with his wife and family were there!
- 1961, Palm Sunday the first Mass was held in
the basement of new church building.
- April 16, 1961 the dedication and opening of
the newly constructed church. Fr. Leo Sullivan
was Saint Ann's first pastor.

- 1967 the first Parish Council is established.
Deacon John was the first chairman.
- February 24, 1963 CCD starts. 41 men and women
involved.
- 1988 saw the drive for the Parish Center.
- 1989 the Parish Center is completed.
