TRINITY COLLEGE MASS: Mass will be celebrated at 6.30pm in the Chapel by Fr Robert Ombres, from Blackfriars, to be followed by drinks and nibbles in the Antechapel.

CATHOLICISM FOR THE CURIOUS continues at 1.15pm in the Library. Inadequate Accounts of Morality (1): Utilitarianism or "Morality by Numbers".

CATHOLICISM & THE POLITICAL - REFLECTIONS ON CATHOLIC COMMITMENTS AND POLITICAL ACTION: This week's topic is Can War against Iraq be Just? Meeting at 8.00pm in the Library.

Tuesday

THE BIBLE STUDY GROUP, led by Fr Stephen, will meet in the Library at 8.00pm. Please note the change of day.

Wednesday

R H BENSON SOCIETY DINNER will be at Caius. The speaker is Christopher Howse, leader writer at the Daily Telegraph. Mass at 6.00pm, drinks at 6.45pm, dinner at 7.30pm.

HELP NEEDED: Some very nice people are needed to help look after the children of the Schola Cantorum, a most important ministry. They rehearse from 9.00am on Sundays in the Library, and further help would be appreciated during the 9.30am Mass.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION: Bishop Patrick Walsh, Bishop of Down & Connor in Ireland, will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation at the 11.15am Mass on Sunday 2nd March. If you have not been Confirmed and you would like to be, please give your name to Sr Pauline as soon as possible.

GRADUATES: Contact Bridget (bo209@cam.ac.uk) if interested in a dinner party for
Catholic graduates in which everyone brings a hot dish / dessert / wine. Date to
be decided.

FISHER HOUSE LIBRARY: Please return all books outstanding from last term or the
vacation.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION: If you have not been Confirmed and you would like to be, please give your name to Sr Pauline as soon as possible. The preparation classes will be held on Saturdays: 1st & 15th February at 4.00pm and 1st March at 5.00pm.

ROSARY BEADS:
Sr Pauline has some Rosary beads on sale. They are made by small family enterprises in Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Due to the present situation there, these families are finding it extremely difficult to survive. Buying these beads, or giving them as a gift, will be both an invitation to pray for peace in the Holy Land and a powerful message of hope to our struggling brothers and sisters there, telling them we care.

CHANGE OF TELEPHONE NUMBER: Sr Pauline's telephone number has changed. It is now 742192, the same as the House number.

READERS, SERVERS & EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
If you are willing to assist at Mass as a reader or Eucharistic Minister, please sign up on the sheets in the porch. If you would like to become an altar server, please contact the Sacristan, James Southgate (710309, jems2) who will provide full training.

FISHER HOUSE BAR
There is a well-stocked bar in the Library at Fisher House, famed for serving the cheapest drinks in Cambridge. It is open every Friday evening of term and everybody is welcome.
