Rev. W. Herman Pastor

"In Service to One, In Service to All    For over 120 years, the Knights of Columbus has served our communities, our Church and our fellow man, in an effort to better society as a whole.” Stop in before our meetings on the  first Weds of the month at 6:45 PM in the parish office or contact James Swincki 313- 882-9687

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill," and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. but someone will say, "You have faith and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe--and shudder.

Christian Service

St Vincent de Paul  Society at OLQP collects food and clothing for those in need. There is always room for an other member in the society and for more cans of food. Monetary donations are accepted. Still as in the bottom line above points out, belief  alone isn’t enough. The Church is a family and your time and energy is valued the most by your brothers and sisters in Christ.
