Thanksgiving Pies
One of the little pleasures of the Thanksgiving season is enjoying a fresh home baked pie. Please help us to share this gift with those families in need. We will once again be collecting pies (pumpkin, apple, cherry, pecan) to include with the Thanksgiving Food Baskets prepared by the Christian Service Commission. We will be accepting pie donations in the Social Hall on Sunday, November 22nd, after all Masses. If you have any questions please contact Paula at (248) 682-4099.

Christmas Giving Tree
The Christmas Giving Tree will be put up in the Narthex next weekend. There will be a great variety of gift tags to choose from. Please notice if your gift should be wrapped or unwrapped and the date of return. All gifts need to be returned to later than Sunday, December 6th. We are asking that after you have returned your gift to once again replace the tag with a white star found in the basket under the tree. The organizations we will be helping this year are: St. Dominic’s, Wee Care for kids, Bortz Nursing Home, The Pregnancy Help Center, Lighthouse of Pontiac, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Baldwin Centers Place of Hope, St. Aloysius, St. Peter and St. Paul, Mary’s Children, St. Vincent de Paul, Matchan Nutrition center, C.O.T.S (Coalition for Temporary Shelter, and Open Door of Waterford. There are so many people in need. Thank you for your continued generous donations.

God Bless You.

November 8th

Food Drive—Thank you!
Thank you to all who continue to support our food pantry with your donations. Thank you to the Spicer family for transporting the food and to Rosie Cagle and Linda Simon for sorting the food, and to Rosie Cagle and Marilyn Schafer for packing the Thanksgiving baskets.

I also want to thank the children of our school and their families for their donations as well to our pantry that helps us fill the Thanksgiving baskets. Your donations help families who are struggling at this time and may other-wise have to go without.

I also want to thank all those who donate financially to support our food pantry; these do-nations help us to purchase gift cards for items that we cannot keep stocked in our pantry.
