| The Sacrament |
|
The Holy Eucharist is a sharing in the Life, Death, Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are fed and challenged by His Word - and we are fed and challenged by the reception of His Body and Blood. Through Him and with Him and in Him we can offer ourselves and our lives to the Father. The Lord Jesus is Food for the Journey and a continuing challenge to be His Holy presence in the world. |

Children who have completed their first year of Religion Classes are eligible to be in the second year classes which concentrates on the Sacrament of Eucharist and the Mass. The parents are responsible for actually "teaching" their child about the Sacrament by using the Eucharist "Gold Book" and lesson plans which the students will start bringing home after the Eucharist Parent Meeting. |
