| Religious Education for Parish Children |
In accordance with the directives and the tradition of our Catholic Church, we try to offer religious education available to everyone - "from the womb to the tomb." Please check out the weekly Chancellor for continuing opportunities. |
| Registration for Children |
Registration for the Religious Education Program for Preschool, Grades 1-8 and Family Home Study will not begin until the fall. Information letters and registration forms will be available in the welcoming area of the church after June 15, 2008 and before September 11, 2008 for registration in the fall. You must be a registered parishioner in order to enroll your child/children in this program. |
| Preschool Religious Education |
Religious education for 4 and 5 year olds is held on Sundays during the 10:00 Mass, usually from October through the first Sunday in May. Parents receive a calendar to follow. Children must be registered through the Religious Education Office at (734) 981-6680. |
| Family Home Study Option |
Some parents choose to be the formal catechist for their child. Training is offered and material is provided for anyone making this their choice. Families in the Home Study Program meet several times throughout the year. Dates and times of the meetings are printed in the weekly Chancellor. Any questions regarding this option should be directed to Betsy Crapps by calling the parish office at (734) 981-1333, ext. 14. |
| 3 Year Olds Program |
We do offer a religious program for 3-year olds, but it is not part of the Religious Education Program. It is separate, and operates with the help of parents who have children in the program. Space is limited and is offered on a "first come, first serve" basis. Starting dates are announced in the Chancellor in the fall. This class meets on Sundays during the 10:00 am Mass. |
