| Bible Study Groups |
Many members of the Moms group have formed their own home based Bible study groups. The groups are small (usually 5-7 women) and meet on a weekly or biweekly basis. Groups use the Catholic Serendipity Bible and children are welcome. If you are interested in joining a Bible study group, please sign up at the general meetings. |
| Book Club |
Every month, women interested in book club meet to discuss the book chosen by the hostess. Women can attend every month, or as their time or interest permits. Discussion is laid-back, lively, and fun. This is not a scholarly pursuit -- just a chance for some friends to get together and have some good conversation and to be introduced to some good reading. Check the calendar for book selections, meeting times, and locations. We hope to see you there! Past books have included: The Nanny Diaries, The Persian Pickle Club, A Year By the Sea, The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Shopgirl, Plainsong, The Secret Life of Bees, Tell No One, Pope Joan, The Red Tent, Little Women, The Da Vinci Code and more! |
| Meal Ministry |
Moms group is there to support a member in times of need with hot meals delivered right to her door! A time of need could be the birth of a new baby, the death of a family member, a surgery or hospital stay, or anything in between. Members sign up to prepare and deliver meals to the family. Contact Joanne H. or Diane Z. if you would like to arrange for meal delivery. |
| Social Events (Ladies Night Out, Couples Night, Family Events) |
MOMs group is chock full of opportunities to socialize. Each month, members sign up to plan an event. It could be dinner club, card night, game night, or a family event. Sign-ups take place at the regular meeting or via email so that we can get an idea of how many people are coming. Events are usually announced in the newsletter. You can also sign up to attend our monthly euchre night. The location and the number of people attending changes, but the fun is guaranteed! |
