We, as a community of young people, have been called by God to respond to the needs of our parish and to use and share the gifts that God has given us with the larger community. We will empower and welcome all those who are willing to do the same.

We, at St. Thomas a'Becket, pride ourselves on sharpening the leadership skills of our youth. The individuals chosen to represent the youth leadership team are those who have expressed a continuing dedication, devotion, and commitment to not only the youth group, but to the church community, as well. Our high school team consists of 12 youth members, ranging from grades 9 through 12, and our middle school team consists of 6 youth members, ranging from grades 6 through 8. They meet once a week throughout the school year, planning and developing new and exciting ways to enhance youth ministry. As a trained and prepared team of 18, these individuals essentially have become the backbone to the program, executing and carrying out youth ministry in our church.

You will find two very active youth ministry groups here at St. Thomas a' Becket - high school youth ministry (grades 9-12), and middle school youth (grades 6-8). We meet on separate nights, once a week, throughout the school year. The meetings are designed around the appropriate age groups, and discuss and debate a number issues facing both our church and world. All members are invited and encouraged to express themselves and convey their own personal faith in a safe place. We offer our assistance in all parish activities, coordinate charity events within our group, and aid in lending a helping hand to those within our parish. In addition, we also arrange a number of fun outings throughout the year, including our "grand finale" trip down to Cedar Point every June.

Meets every Monday night, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., down in the lower level Youth Center, from September through June.
