The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is a consultative body, which unites laity
and clergy in a community of prayer, leadership and service.
The Pastor consults the Council on major concerns which affect the life
and mission of the parish. The Council also acts as a liaison between the
different organizations in the Parish coordinating activities and programs.
The Council recommendations deal with plans and policies and not with
acts of administration. The Council periodically reviews and evaluates
the overall experience and quality of life of the parish. It develops and
recommends plans and priorities for the future.

Last Update 11/01/2009 October Meeting Meeting Minutes from Other Organizations: PTU , Ladies Guild, and Stewardship minutes are the only organizations that have submitted minutes to date. What is the appropriate us of this information? Sister suggested to have someone from P.P.C. review the minutes and summarize in 5-10 minutes. Father suggested organizing the information to publish in the following week's bulletin. Father and Ted to compose a letter to all organizations to forward minutres for review. Minutes are to be forwarded to Jennifer Black for summarization. Stewardship Update: They will be working on a Lenten Ministries Fair Education Commission Update: They will have Advent booklets available during Advent - 2 for adults and 2 for childen. These will also be made available at Parent-Teacher Conferences (11/13/09) Meet & Greet: P.P.C. will be hosting in December (3rd Sunday). December 10, 2009 will be the combined meeting for Finance, Stewartship, and P.P.C. Pastoral Installation: Fr. Peyton will be installed on Saturday, 1/30/2010 at 4:30 p.m. mass. More information to come as it becomes available. Luminary Update: Going ahead with it. Miss Sweeney will pass along information to the school families via the weekly newsletter. It will also be published in the weekly parish bulletin, possibly with an envelope that can be dropped into the weekly collection basket with the family name and donation. Goal-setting for P.P.C.: Keep It Simple! The Welcoming Manual has been condensed into a flowchart. How can we incorporate this flowchart into our parish. Are there some things we are already doing?
