St Francis de Sales
( Parish Advisory Council )
The Parish Advisory Council is a consultative body, which unites laity
and clergy in a community of prayer, leadership and service.
The Pastor consults the Council on major concerns which affect the life
and mission of the parish. The Council also acts as a liaison between the
different organizations in the Parish coordinating activities and programs.
The Council recommendations deal with plans and policies and not with
acts of administration. The Council periodically reviews and evaluates
the overall experience and quality of life of the parish. It develops and
recommends plans and priorities for the future.

Here’s a summary from the latest Parish Advisory Council meeting:
- We would like to welcome and introduce our three new PAC members: Karen O’Malley,
Jeff McSweeney and Robert Moran. We thank them for their commitment. Please feel free to talk to them about any
ideas or concerns that you may have. We also would like to thank those members of the PAC who are stepping down:
Paula Curtin, Dick McElroy, Mary Beth Homola, and Denise Drotleff. We really appreciate their time and their contributions
to the PAC and the parish.
- As a means of improving cooperation and communication among the various ministries
of the Parish, the PAC has created Commissions for Parish Life, Liturgy, and Education. These Commissions are headed
by Ruth Lewicki, Cathy Zackarowski, and Char Teul, respectively. They will work together with the leaders of all
ministries to create an atmosphere of fellowship and faith for the parishioners of St. Francis and our cluster
parishes.
- As always, if you have any suggestions about what can be improved or if you want
to tell us what is good about the parish, just drop us a line in the suggestion box, leave an on-line suggestion,
or stop and talk to one of us. We are here for you.
Thank you from the Parish Advisory Council.
