The Men's Choir
The Music Ministry group with the longest legacy is that of the
Men's Choir. Founded by Walter Bernard in 1936, the Men's Choir
continues to minister to the 9:00 am Sunday Mass. The men draw
this legacy of music as well as continue to explore their fuction in the
21st century church. On occasion, the men will combine forces with the
Women's Choir to provide a stirring Music Ministry of these special
liturgies. The Men's Choir welcome new men to their ranks and invite
you to share in their comradery - please consider to become a part of
this ministry.
REHEARSALS: Tuesdays at 7:00 pm.

The Women's Choir
The Women's Choir is a group of women who serve the parish
community in song. They support and enhance the assembly's
song as well as providing moving and reflective music at appropiate
points in the liturgy. For special parish celebrations the women
will combine with the Men's Choir to produce awesome sounds
of exciting liturgy. The ladies of this choir have occasional social
gatherings to mark special days which nourish the spirit as well as
the body. Come join the fun and spirituality of the Women's Choir.
REHEARSALS: Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

The New Life Singers
The New Life Singers are a treasure to the Music Ministry as well
as St. Francis de Sales Parish. These are generous people who
minister to the bereaved at Masses of Christian Burial and Memorial
Masses. To share the gift of music and comfort at these difficult
moments in people's lives is a treasure. Attendance at each and every
funeral is in no way mandatory. Part of the beauty of this group is that
there are a number of people who are willing to help when they are
available. Won't you consider joining this very special group?
One of the advantages of this group is that you can sing in a choir and
there are no night rehearsals or Masses.

The Chamber Singers
The Chamber Singers are a new group to the Music Ministry of
St Francis de Sales Parish. This is a small ensemble of singers
coming together to sing special music for mixed voices. They only
rehearse once a month and minister to a Mass. There are openings
for tenors and basses currently. Membership is through an interview
with the Annette Banas. If you possess a special singing voice, please
contact the Annette and set up an appointment for an interview.

The Handbell Choir
The Adult Handbell Choir is formed of parishioners who are interested
in the art of handbell ringing and enhancing the parish liturgies with their
skills. An ability to read music is not required, but it is definitely helpful.

The Junior Music Ministry
The parish offers young people the opportunity to sing in a choir and/
or play in a handbell choir. Times are being set for a choir for our day
school students as well as a handbell choir and junior cantors. A choir
of non day school students is also being organized. More information
will be circulated as PSR classes begin. Any questions regarding the
Junior Music Ministry of St. Francis de Sales Parish should be directed
to Gerry Mass or the Parish Office.

The Liturgy Brass Ensemble
The St. Francis de Sales Liturgical Brass Ensemble plays at Masses
and other sacred liturgies through out the year. This group was begun
