The faith-community, St. John Catholic Church, Glenwood, is a local
church present, among other influential religious and civic
organizations in our area. Our Catholic Community of St. John, by
using its resources, dedicates itself, primarily, to the responsibility
of sharing and proclaiming the "Good News" of Jesus
Christ. Responding to the injunction of Jesus, it shall also be
the mission of our faith-community to advance religious education among
our children and adults. As Christians, we believe in the
promotion of all human rights, whether of the born or unborn. The
fostering of social justice flows from the Gospel message and impacts
upon the quality of human existence. By following the counsel of
the Sermon on the Mount, our community endeavors to be a source of
solace, courage and support to those in need. The people of St.
John Catholic Church shall strive to mirror the charity of Christ and
extend His hospitality to all.
