Welcome to the Divine Savior Prayer Community!

Our Prayer Community has been meeting together since June of 1979, each Wednesday from 7:45 to 9:30 PM.

We devote the majority of the meeting to praise and thanksgiving, scripture sharing, teaching, songs, and witnessing to the goodness of the Lord. Petitions are offered during the last part of the meeting for the needs of the parish, the community and each other. After the meeting, we enjoy refreshments and fellowship while others, who ask for special prayers, can have group members pray over them.

The Divine Savior Prayer Community strives to create an environment in which people will come to a deeper personal experience of the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love and healing of God the Father, through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

As authentically Catholic, we believe in, adhere to, and follow the theology, doctrines and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. As authentically charismatic, we promote and encourage the use of the charisms of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). Some years ago, Sister Breige McKenna was a guest at Divine Savior and discerned that “This Prayer Community's main charism was as an intercessory prayer group.”

We invite you to join us. Our only requirement is that each member's desire is to seek God.
