Today, the Feast of All Saints holds a special meaning in light of the many new Saints that the Holy Father has canonized this year. We as Catholics are blessed to have "people just like us" to look up to; to imitate and to admire for the love and faith. Their lives can and do inspire us to be the people that God is calling us to be. Many of the newly canonized Saints are men and women of our time; people we can identify with. I have set up a website dedicated to Saint David Uribe, one on the Mexican Martyrs who was canonized by the Pope in May. Please check it out http://www.sandavid.org

The site is in Spanish and English. I hope to make many improvements over time. I pray that through the intercession of St. David, those who visit this site will be inspired and will seek to deepen their love for Christ. God Bless.

This is a wonderful web site. You've given me the inspiration to get one started for my parish in South Plainfield, NJ.

Please forgive the intrusion but I've been try to search the Catholic web site search engine without luck for a job description for a lay Hispanic outreach minister. Also any other info regarding Hispanic outreach guidance. I saw all your Spanish masses and wondered if your staff might have ideas for me. My parish is the newish St Mark in Huntersville. We want to increase our outreach to our growing Hispanic parishioners and neighbors. Thanks and blessings!

The web site is great. I like the comment about adding more pictures of the priests/parishioners and activities. As of this date, it seems that some more updated info could be provided RE: current events, the status of the new church, how close we are to breaking ground, etc. Might also be a good tool to solicit charitable contributions towards the building fund. Just a thought!

The only thing this webpage can't convey is the abundance of warmth and friendliness contained in this church. I have been through RCIA and recently took my first communion at OLL (at the beautiful Easter Vigil), but I feel like I have been there always. I am very thankful that God led me to OLL.

I think this webpage is a wonderful way to publicize our church!  I would like to see more of this.  And I love the part where you can see the new church!  I know everyone is ready for that to be put up!

Dear parishioners and friends of Our Lady of Lourdes, and Fr. Ed of course, I'm sorry to have to tell you that my uncle, Fr. Vince Donovan, passed away today (May 13.)  He always spoke very kindly of his many friends in North Carolina.  I would like to thank all of you, on behalf of his family, for his years spent with you.  I have very fond memories of visiting my uncle while he was with your parish, so I thank you as well.  His funeral will be sometime this week at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.  If you would, please include in your prayers for him a winning season for the Steelers, which would have given him endless smiles!

Thank you for this great site.  As a new member of the parish, it is nice to find a place to go to find out about my new spiritual sanctuary.

Keep up the good work. This is a great website. It would be even better if there were pictures and info on the youth group.

Hi. My home parish in Philadelphia, PA was Our Lady of Lourdes. There is a grotto in the basement church.  OLOL is near St. Charles Borremo seminary.  We are traveling south from Maryland along I95 and expect to stop in Georgia, hopefully near Brunswick but we'll stay anywhere we can get to Mass on Monday, May 1.  I heard there is a web site called "masstimes" but I can't find it.  Can you help us? We have attended Mass at St. Ann's in Holly Hill, SC and near Florence, SC on earlier trips but we want to travel into Georgia on Sunday April 30.  Can you help us find a Mass in Georgia near Brunswick on May 1?

(see comment below) Forgive my previous e-mail. I had put in an inquiry about Catholic churches and Murphy, NC and somehow Charlotte NC showed up and your church. Now looking at map I see you are far away from Murphy and I know we'll find a church closer. (Your website is very well done!! We belong to Immaculate Conception parish in Melbourne Beach, Fl and we too have a wonderful site we're proud of.)
