Our Lady of
In honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Apparitions of
Our Blessed Mother in
Holy Hour: Tuesday evenings in the
church at 7pm – 8pm. Evening prayer, Litany, Rosary, Benediction
and songs in honor of 150th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our
Lady of Lourdes.

First Holy Communion and Confirmation celebrations will be soon,
perhaps you need a few cards. . .I have the place for you to shop – right in
our own Narthex! Following the 5:30pm
and 10am Masses the next few weekends you can find all types and very beautiful
cards for your First Holy Communicant or for those making Confirmation. All the proceeds will go to Our Lady of
Lourdes Church. So please stop by and
see Janice Steiner, who will be happy to assist you.
Our Daily Mass begins with the Morning Prayers. Please join us Monday-Thursday as we dedicate
our day to God and then receive the Holy Eucharist to sustain us. Each Friday morning, Deacon Jesus Reyes starts
Adoration with Morning Prayers at 6:15am.

Registration
Information:
Faith Formation registration for students currently attending
Faith Formation classes will begin on April 1, 2008 for the 2008-2009 school
year. Faith Formation registration will
be open to ALL parishioners beginning May 1, 2008. Class space is limited so register early!! Registration forms are available in the Faith
Formation building and church offices and on the information desk in the
Narthex of the church.
The Touching Safety
Classes for Faith Formation students are
scheduled for Sunday, April 27th and Wednesday, April 30th. If you opt-out your child from the Touching
Safety class by signing the opt-out form, he/she must be in attendance at their
regular Faith Formation class! Touching
Safety program summaries and lesson plans can be obtained in the Faith
Formation office.

Youth Group :
Calling
all rising 9th Grade through 12th Grade Youth. Donna
and Jim Terenzi are planning a “Pizza and board game night” in May in the
MPR. This is an opportunity to be with
other teens and share time and share ideas. Please

Women’s Guild: The Women’s
Guild is in the process of collecting recipes for “Our Lady of
Transportation Needed: A parishioner needs transportation to our 10am Mass. Call Helen if you can help @ 704-226-9351. She lives close to the church.
Cinco
de Mayo Festival: Sunday, May
11, 2008 the Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a
Festival from 10am – 8pm. Latin American Food, Volleyball Tournament, Folklore,
Pony Rides, Games, and Music. Raffle
tickets on sale now. Prizes: Ford Focus 2008, Laptop, TV Plasma, Wii and iPod.

día 1 de Abril. Y para todos los
parroquianos comenzaran el día 1 de Mayo. Las formas de registración están a la

Clases Tocando con Seguridad para los estudiantes del
programa Formación de la Fe, serán el Domingo 27, y el miércoles 30 de abril.

los quiera mirar, en la Oficina de la Formación de la Fe.
Se
necesitan voluntarios para la organización del festival a celebrar el 11 de
Mayo en los terrenos de la Iglesia, en la salida ay algunas personas colectando
firmas, o si puede asistir a la reunión el próximo miércoles a las 7:30 en el Salón.

Organización San Miguel Arcangel esta tratando de organizar un millon de de
personas en todo USA para rezar el Rosario el día 3 de Mayo por los bebes no
nacidos. Los organizadores del evento; Un Mollon de Rosarios por los Niños no
Nacidos, estan pidiendo a los participantes rezar durante los mismos 60 minutos
