Catechism Program for 2011-2012 Lynne de Rocquigny is the Catechism co-ordinator for both the French and English children of the parish. As always, new catechists, assistants, and people willing to be occasional substitute catechists are most welcome to contact Lynne at 878-3859. Training for catechists is available. Catechism Registration Registration for 2011-2012 will take place on September 26th at 7 pm at the Parish Hall. However, children will be accepted to join a class during the year. Catechism Schedule for 2011-2012 Classes are on Monday nights at 6:50 p.m. in the parish hall and church. Please have your children at their designated location at that time so classes can start promptly. The children enjoy visiting with their friends before class starts and late arrivals can be disruptive. The teachers have only 60 minutes so they want to make full use of the time. The location of your child's classes will be indicated on the day of registration. The first class is October 3. There are no classes on Thanksgiving Day, October 10th. There are no classes on Monday October 31. However, the annual All Saints Party will be held on that day at the hall for the younger children which involves games, treats, and food. The last class before Christmas break is December 19. Classes resume January 9, 2012. The last class of the year is April 30, 2012. In case of inclement weather during the winter season, classes may be cancelled and we will contact the parents to notify them of a cancellation. |
