Ordination to the Priesthood   of Dominic La Fleur Notre Dame de Lorette Parish of Lorette, MB is pleased to announce the Ordination to the  Priesthood of Dominic La Fleur in the St. Boniface Archdiocese. This joyous occasion took place Sunday May 7th, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral in Winnipeg, MB with the presiding Bishop Mgr. Emilius Goulet, P.S.S. Fr. La Fleur's first Masses were co-celebrated with Fr. Armand Le Gal O.M.I., the parish priest, in Notre Dame de Lorette Church May 13th and May 14th. A reception was held at the Parish Hall after a special 10:00 am bilingual Mass on May 14th.
		Fr. La Fleur was born and raised in the St. Vital area of Winnipeg, MB. He completed his studies at the Grand Seminaire of Montreal (Quebec, Canada) and arrived in Lorette the Fall of 2003 to serve his internship. On June 25th, 2005 he was Ordained to the Diaconate by Mgr. Emilius Goulet, P.S.S. During his time in Lorette, Fr. La Fleur has been actively involved in the various ministries of the bilingual parish with a special emphasis on youth and families. Fr. La Fleur has been named to St. George Parish, near Pine Falls, MB. A special bilingual farewell Mass is being planned for Sunday July 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.  There will be a Coffee House in the Hall following the mass.
