Children’s Liturgy - February 12 and 26^th

Youth Group – Youth night Sunday January 29th - the youth will meet at church at 6pm.  We will then go to the Scrounge Lounge at 7pm to watch the movie Soul Surfer.  Popcorn and drinks will be provided.  We will have a short discussion after the movie and the night will end at 9pm.

Invitation-Guest Speaker - Daniel Potvin will speak about Stewardship on January 31^st at Christ Our Savior Parish in Steinbach after the 7:00 pm Mass

Priestly Vocation Discernment Day – March 24, 2012 - It is a day for men (17 years of age and older) who are considering a call to the priesthood. Great occasion to meet others who feel called to the priesthood and who need enlightenment and answers to the questions they have. Day will include prayer time, Mass, testimonies, group sharing, meals and teachings. If you know someone who could benefit from such a day, please invite them or refer them to Fr. Marcel Damphousse, Vocations Director at 233-7304. Confirm your participation by March 16. Event will take place in Lorette, at Light of the Prairies Centre.

Please keep in your prayers – Edouard Manaigre of our Parish who died on January 9^th. The funeral took place on January 13^th, 2012 and Étienne Lemoine, formerly of Lorette who died on January 13^th.

The Catholic Women's League of our parish will be having a Sud, Spud & Steak Dinner and Silent Auction on Friday February 3, 2012 at Dawson Trail Motor Inn  5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tickets - $15 each.  All Proceeds will be going towards the new Celebrate in Song pew books.  If interested please contact a CWL member for tickets.
