• Youth Sunday, Nov. 23^rd - Join us after mass for breakfast in the hall and then have a riot at Mall Madness from Noon-2pm @ St. Vital Mall.  Rides will be provided...please let me know in advance if you can come!!  Brenda 388-4418
• Youth Activity Sat. Dec. 6^th -  Visit to the Missionaries of Charity soup kitchen in downtown Winnipeg to serve lunch to the poor and homeless.  Departure 8am - return 1pm.  Please register in advance!!

Once again the CWL will be selling Angels for the Marian Hour this year.  We will have them on sale at the back of the church before and after mass on November 2nd and 9th, thank you so much for your support.

Communal breakfast on Sunday November 2nd after both masses is being organized by Sel et Lumière (French Youth Group) with the help of the Knights of Columbus. 

Free will offering at the door for a breakfast of eggs, toast, sausages and hashbrowns. 

Please come and support the youth during this fundraiser.  50/50 tickets will also be sold.

Flu Vaccine Clinic – November 4^th, 2008 Jubinville Hall, Lorette 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The vaccine is made available to all school staff, all persons 65 years & older, and adults & children with lung or heart disease or other long term illnesses. Children 6-23 months are eligible for vaccination. Please call for information on the children’s clinic. Betty Ann Orr, Public Health Nurse 878-5000. Please remember to bring your Manitoba Health Card.

Caritas Award Recipient for 2009: L'Arche Winnipeg - The Board of Directors of the Catholic Foundation of Manitoba has named L'Arche Winnipeg the Caritas Award recipient for 2009. L'Arche is an international federation of faith-based communities creating homes and day programs with people who have development disabilities. L'Arche started in 1964 in Trosly, France, when Jean Vanier welcomed two men with disabilities into his home. L'Arche Winnipeg is celebrating thirty-five years of service. L'Arche will be honored at the 31st Annual Caritas Award Dinner on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
