Growing and Nurturing Adult Spirituality - February 16, 2012 - “Growing & Nurturing Adult Spirituality:” with Nancy Reeves and Linnea Good will focus on “Partnering with God to Nurture Ourselves and Others” through story, prayer and personal reflection and discussion. Afternoon session (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) & an evening session (7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) Both sessions will be held at St. Boniface Cathedral Hall. The Notre Dame de Lorette Catholic Women's League (CWL) members thank our parish and community at large for their enthusiastic support of the Sud, Spud & Steak fundraiser.  It was a great success!

In appreciation of your support, the CWL will host Coffee House next Sunday, February 19th, coinciding with CWL Awareness Day.  The council’s goal is to have more women involved in the CWL.  

Brochures about the league will be available.

■ Quiche, muffins, fruit and coffee will be served. Come one and all!!!

Pregnancy & Family Support Services is under the distinguished patronage of the three Catholic archdioceses of Winnipeg? PFSS declares that it "recognizes each person as a unique individual created in the image of God". The Catholic Women's League and Chevaliers de Colomb urge you to show your "Respect for Life". Items listed on the display will be collected to the end of February.

Financial donations can be made by cheque payable to PFSS and you will receive an income tax receipt.

Administration Apostolate –The Parish is seeking nominations to replace two outgoing trustees,

Marcel Jeanson and Marc Manaigre, whose three year terms have come to an end. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Marcel and Marc for their input and involvement over the last three years.

Nominations are now open to fill two vacancies on the Administration Apostolate Committee.

It would be helpful if candidates had some financial, administrative or building maintenance experience.

Nomination bulletin must have the candidate’s consent and signature. Please note that the name of the person presenting the candidate will be published along with the list of candidates.

• Revenue Canada regulations state that the members sitting on the Administration Apostolate Committee must be at “arm’s length” meaning a relationship where persons acts independently of each other or who are not related by blood, adoption, marriage, or common law.
