Msgr.
J Francis Hinchey Council was founded in 1974. It is named after the Rt.
Rev. J. F. Hinchey (1881-1973), who was ordained in 1909 and served
the Hamilton Diocese until his death in 1973. The Msgr. J Francis Hinchey
Council works closely with the St. Augustine's, Canadian Martyrs and Our
Lady of Mount Carmel Parishes in West Hamilton and Dundas, providing funds
for various projects, members being active participants in their parish.
